As quickly as 2024 arrived, we are bidding farewell to the swift wings of January! Let’s reflect on the progress of the goals we established for the new year and allow February to check our compass and the pace of our journey so that it unfolds with promise!
With the vision of our 2024 Chamber Chair, Kelsey Wagner, we are striving to create a new Chamber experience with ideas from her “Invest in Success” campaign as we journey toward meeting our new goals. Embracing a dynamic shift, our Chamber is redefining relationships and amplifying engagement by transforming our valued Ponca City Area Chamber Members into strategic Ponca City Area Chamber Investors. Our goal is to forge a path where collective success is brought about by the investment of time, resources and knowledge to lead Ponca City to a future of growth and prosperity. We are elevating your Ponca City Chamber status from member to investor because success is not joined … it’s invested. Your investment in the Chamber is an investment in our community and sets the standard for excellence.
Along with the “Invest for Success” campaign, we are thrilled to roll out the acronym NAMES, which serves as the rallying call for the collaborative spirit that redefines our Chamber community. Build NAMES for your business and our community with the Ponca City Area Chamber of Commerce!
N – Networking: It is not just who you know; it’s who others know! Networking is a powerful tool for building your business and connections.
A – Advocacy: The Chamber publicly advocates for everyone!
M – Marketing: Our Chamber provides numerous ways to showcase an investor’s business or organization.
E – Educate: The Chamber offers workshops, seminar and other resources to help investors improve their business and our community.
S – Sales: Sales in Ponca City are promoted and impacted through the Chamber’s Shop Ponca First Campaigns.
By the time of this publication, EVERY household in Ponca City has either received, or will be receiving shortly, our 2024 Ponca City Chamber of Commerce Directory, which details our revised 2024 Chamber Business Plan and the specifics of what it means to build NAMES by investing in the Ponca City Chamber of Commerce. Every new resident in Ponca City receives a copy of the directory as well through the utility department of the city. This amazing and beautifully designed resource provides the Ponca City Information Guide, our Chamber Investor Directory, highlights our attractions and offers a host of other wonderful resources and information about Ponca City to everyone. The Chamber Directory is not just a map for Chamber investors; it is for all community stakeholders to unlock connectivity and unite Ponca City.
Another Chamber activity that is abuzz in February, is our February Receipt Campaign, which is a piece of our Shop Ponca First initiative. The February Receipt Campaign promotes shopping locally for ALL Ponca City retail businesses, whether they are Chamber investors or not. Consumers shopping at any retail business in Ponca City during February simply collect their receipts and bring them to the Chamber Office for drawings for one $500 and five $100 Chamber Bucks prizes. Be sure to write your name and phone number on the receipt, and we will draw for prizes at 5 p.m. on Thurs., Feb. 29, 2024. You don’t have to listen to or watch anything; we will call you!
