PCM is independently owned and operated. We don't answer to a corporate parent or an algorithm. We answer to Ponca City.

Kelsey Wagner is the founder, editor, and publisher of Ponca City Monthly. She's also serving as Mayor of Ponca City — which means she's both covering the community and living in it at the deepest level possible.

Her dual role as Mayor and publisher gives PCM something rare: a publisher who doesn't just write about Ponca City, but is accountable to it.
